Global Energy Interconnection Gets Support From World's Largest Utility And More:
State Grid Corp Of China + Int'l Energy Agency + Int'l Electrotechnical Commission

Dear GENI Friend,

Fifty years ago Buckminster Fuller's proposed the global electric energy grid as the highest priority for our planet.  Now the Global Energy Interconnection (GEI) is being advocated by the world's leading energy agencies and largest utility, the China State Grid Corp.  This white paper makes the case for 2 replacements:

  • Clean replacement in energy generation using renewable energies to replace fossil fuels
  • Electric Energy replacement: Electric energy replaces oil as primary transportation fuel

The simple equation: GEI = Smart Grid + UHV Grid + Clean Energy

(UHV is Ultra High Voltage)

Three primary benefits are featured:

  • Clean energy will be 80% by 2050
[editor's note: see the 77 page detailed report for this replacement goal]
  • Carbon emissions controlled to limit temperature rise to 2oC
  • Promote worldwide cooperation and curb international disputes

The GEI emphasizes using wind and solar in optimal locations on each continent. It's known that these renewables offer 10,000x more potential than is required to meet our global energy demand.

The GEI covers every aspect of international politics, economy, diplomacy, national defense and climate change. Bloomberg New Energy Finance and Impact Alpha are projecting trillions invested in clean and efficient energy.  Every nation benefits from increased trade and cooperation while decreasing pollution.

Our work has been embraced by the world's leading energy agencies. You have made this possible. Now, plans must turn into projects and investment, so keep pushing your officials.
