With Bucky's vision, GENI is putting forward a comprehensive strategy for world peace!

At a recent Contribution Evening in Colorado, I was speaking about how our work will help bring about a more peaceful world. The more we interconnect neighboring nations, it's just bad business to shoot your customer or supplier of electrical energy. It's also economically beneficial for both parties.

When I said that GENI is a compelling strategy for world peace, one supporter nearly burst with excitement. She asked the entire group, How many organizations actually have a plan to help bring about peace in the world? Peace is clearly more than just the absence of conflict. With Bucky's vision, GENI is putting forward a comprehensive strategy for world peace!

In this spirit, we want to share with you a recent communication sent to the key players in the Israeli-Syria peace negotiations. Having the opportunity to offer a concrete proposal to advance the cause for peace in the Middle East is a great honor and responsibility. In the past, similar letters have been sent to North and South Korea, Central America, even the former Yugoslavia. As I have said in presentations, it may be coincidental, but every time we send out the GENI information to these leaders, the newspapers report that they are talking interconnections!

You enable us to continue this effort. Those who fund the work to bring peace to the world are critical. You are truly making a difference in the world — in the role of peacemaker.
