GENI - About Us
Sara Kamins

I worked at GENI for two years after graduating from college, first as an intern and later as a Research Analyst. GENI gave me the opportunity to develop a website on Renewable Energy Policies and an index fund (the GC100) that promotes investment in companies that advance solutions to climate change. I researched many things about global warming and energy markets while at GENI, but most significantly, I learned about global policies to mitigate climate change and the financial potential of investing in cleantech companies. GENI was an inspiring work environment where I learned that big dreams paired with dedication and focused solutions could lead to changing the world.

I have received my Masters of Science degree in Energy and Resources at UC Berkeley and am now working at the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to implement California's Renewables Portfolio Standard (RPS).
